About the devices

What does "adjust" actually do on these devices?

Each model has a different physical knob, but every one runs the same adjust flavors sold through Adjust Vape.

  • MyCool 40K has a coolness slider on the side of the device. Roll it from level 1 (subtle chill, fruit-forward) to level 5 (full ice rush) — same flavor, totally different sensation.
  • MyRusher 40K tunes airflow tightness rather than coolness. The draw is firmer, the hit lands further back, no menthol-control slider on this one.
  • MySour 40K doesn't have a hardware knob. The "adjust" in MySour refers to picking between 5 sour-intensity profiles (mild Sour Pinkberry to puckered Sour Grapple).

How long do 40,000 puffs really last?

At a typical 10–12 puffs per session and 4 sessions per day (the average we see from order-history vapers), one device lasts 3 to 4 weeks. Heavier vapers (8–10 sessions, 15+ puffs each) come in around 2 weeks. Pack-a-day-equivalent users last about 3 weeks.

The internal counter doesn't lie — when the pod hits 40,000 puffs the chip locks the coil and the device shows the empty indicator. There's no soft cutoff before that.

Why does the device need charging if it has a battery built in?

Battery and e-liquid are sized independently. A 28 mL pod with the battery sized to last 40,000 puffs would make the device pocket-unfriendly. So the battery is sized to deliver maybe 4,000–6,000 puffs per charge, and you top it up with the included USB-C cable.

A full charge takes about 45 minutes. You can vape while it's charging.

What's the nicotine strength?

All Adjust devices run 5% (50 mg/mL) salt nicotine. Salt nic delivers a smoother throat hit than freebase nic at the same strength, which is why most disposables use it. We don't ship 0 mg / 1.8% / 2.5% variants — the lineup is single-strength.

Are these refillable?

No. Adjust devices are sealed disposables. When the 28 mL pod runs out, the coil locks and the device goes in the e-waste bin (or back to a vape-shop drop-off where available). The "adjust" in the name refers to coolness/impact/flavor, not refillability.

Buying & shipping

Do you ship to my state?

We ship to most U.S. states where adult nicotine vape sales are legal. A handful of states (Utah, Massachusetts, California for example) have carrier or product-form restrictions; the exact current list is in our shipping policy. We're PACT-compliant for every state we serve — which means adult signature on delivery and age-verified billing addresses.

How fast do you ship?

Orders placed before 2 PM Central Time on a business day ship the same day from our Flatonia, TX warehouse. Orders placed after 2 PM or on weekends ship the next business day. We don't sit on orders — average from "Pay Now" to USPS scan is under 6 business hours.

Free standard shipping on orders over $80; flat $4.99 below that. Most U.S. addresses see 2–5 business day transit.

How does age verification work?

At checkout you'll be asked to upload a photo of a government-issued ID (driver's license, passport, state ID) along with a selfie holding it. Our team verifies that the ID is real, the photo matches, and the listed address matches your shipping address. Verification usually takes 30–60 minutes during business hours.

On delivery, the courier (USPS or UPS) will request a signature from an adult 21+. No one under 21 can sign for the package.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit/debit cards. We do not accept gift cards, prepaid cards, cryptocurrency, or payment apps — banks classify nicotine sales differently and prepaid/crypto have high fraud rates in this category.

Why was my card declined?

Three usual causes, in order: (1) billing address doesn't match the card on file — fix the address and try again; (2) bank's MCC filter flags nicotine — call your bank and authorize the transaction, then retry; (3) prepaid or virtual card — we don't accept those, use a regular credit/debit card. Email us if none of these fits.

Warranty, returns & troubleshooting

What's your return policy?

Unopened, factory-sealed devices can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund minus return shipping. Opened or used devices can't be returned — federal regulations classify them as used tobacco product and we can't legally resell them.

Defective devices (won't charge, won't pull, leaks out of the box) are covered by the 30-day functional warranty — we replace them, no need to return.

My device stopped working — what now?

Try in this order: (1) charge it for 45 minutes (sometimes batteries arrive nearly depleted); (2) check the airflow ring isn't stuck closed; (3) clean the USB-C port with a toothpick — dust collects there; (4) tap the bottom of the device firmly 4–5 times to dislodge any settled e-liquid. If none of that fixes it, the fix guide has more steps. Still dead? Email us with the order number for a warranty replacement.

The flavor tastes "burnt" / "muted" — defective?

Almost never a defect — usually one of three things: (1) you chain-vaped a long session and the coil is over-heated, wait 10 minutes and try again; (2) the e-liquid level is low (last 1–2 days of a device's life, the coil pulls drier); (3) you turned the coolness up to max on MyCool — high menthol mutes fruit notes, dial it down.

I got the wrong flavor in my order

It happens about 1 in 800 orders. Email us with a photo of what arrived plus the packing slip — we ship the correct flavor same business day, you don't need to return the wrong one. We don't restock returned devices.

How do I verify my device is authentic?

Every Adjust device has a QR code on the back. Scan it with your phone's camera — it should open adjust-vape.com/verify with the device's serial number, batch ID, and ship date. If the QR opens a different domain, doesn't scan, or shows "not found", the device is a counterfeit.

If you bought from a third-party reseller and the QR is missing or shows wrong data, email us a clear photo and we'll confirm.

Account & orders

Do I need to create an account to order?

You can check out as a guest. But an account lets you skip age verification on repeat orders (we keep your verified ID on file for 12 months), track all your orders in one place, and check loyalty points. Sign up at your account page.

Where's my order tracking number?

You get an email with the tracking number the moment USPS or UPS scans the package — usually 4–8 hours after you place the order. If you don't see it, check spam first. Still nothing 24 hours after order: track by order number or email us.

Can I cancel or change an order after placing it?

Yes, if it hasn't shipped yet. We ship fast — usually within 6 business hours — so the cancel window is short. Email us immediately with the order number and the change (cancel / flavor swap / address fix). After the tracking number is issued the order is locked.
