Adjust MyRusher 40K Review — Tighter Draw, Harder Hit
If MyCool is Adjust's mainstream device, MyRusher is the version for vapers who find most disposables too "airy." The draw is firmer, the impact lands further back in the throat, and there's no coolness slider. Here's a two-week honest take.
The draw — that's the whole product, really
MyRusher and MyCool share the same chassis size, same 40K puff cap, same 28 mL pod, same USB-C charging, same 5% salt nic. What's different is the airflow. MyRusher's internal airflow channel is calibrated tighter — a firmer pull is required to fire the coil and deliver a denser vapor.
For vapers coming from a refillable MTL (mouth-to-lung) pod system or sub-ohm tank, this matters. Most disposables in the 40K class default to a looser, more "social" draw that's friendlier to first-time vapers but feels under-powered if you're used to harder tank hits. MyRusher feels closer to a refillable pod's draw profile than any other disposable I've tested. Across the Adjust Vape range, every device pulls from the same set of adjust vape flavors.
The catch: it's not adjustable. Where MyCool gives you slider control, MyRusher commits to the tight-draw position. If you don't already know you want a firmer pull, MyCool is the safer choice.
Flavor library — 10 options, ranked
I've tried 6 of the 10 MyRusher flavors. Best-to-worst by personal preference:
- Watermelon Ice — same calibration as MyCool's version, but the tighter draw concentrates the menthol. Hits colder.
- Strawberry Banana — the smoothie reference works best on MyRusher's tighter draw. Banana stays as the body without dispersing.
- Pineapple Paradise — pineapple-coconut tropical mix. Best when you want sweet without ice.
- Georgia Peach — plain peach with no cream layer. The tighter draw concentrates the stone-fruit character nicely.
- Mountain Berry — wild-berry profile, more complex than expected.
- Winter Mint — pure peppermint. Clean but I prefer Miami Mint on MyCool for the cucumber complexity.
Haven't tried Blue Razz Ice (already had it on MyCool), Pomegranate Blast, Sour Fcuking Fab, or Sour Strawberry Dragon yet.
Who should pick MyRusher over MyCool
The honest customer profile after two weeks of testing:
- Former sub-ohm tank vapers who find disposables generally too airy.
- Pod-system MTL vapers who want disposable convenience without the loose-draw step-down.
- Heavy daily vapers who want fewer, denser hits per session rather than more, lighter hits.
- Vapers who don't care about the coolness slider — if you'd never touch the MyCool slider anyway, MyRusher gives you a more committed device for the same price tier.
Conversely, if you're new to vaping, sensitive to throat hit, or want to play with menthol intensity, MyCool is the smarter buy. Both devices are good; they're tuned for different people.
Build quality vs. MyCool
Identical chassis. Same plastic feel, same USB-C port placement, same LED indicator. The only physical difference is the absence of the slider mechanism on the side, which means MyRusher has one fewer potential failure point. Whether that matters depends on whether you'd actually use the slider.
Battery behavior is similar — about 4,000-6,000 puffs per charge, ~45 minutes to full. I noticed the battery drops slightly faster on MyRusher than MyCool, probably because the tighter airflow makes each puff slightly more power-intensive. Doesn't significantly affect overall device life.
Worth $22.99?
One dollar more than MyCool. That's a meaningful price gap for a less-feature-rich device. The logic: MyRusher's draw tuning is the value, not adjustability. You're paying for a committed firm-MTL experience rather than the slider versatility.
If you know you want firm-draw vaping, $22.99 is fair. If you're not sure whether you want firm or loose draw, save the dollar and go with MyCool — you can use the slider to approximate both ends of the spectrum without committing to either.
